1. Download from your library
Buy once on Gumroad and Asset Lab-Setup-2.7.7-Windows.exe appears in your library beside the Mac and Linux builds. The same download page holds the Setup Guide, the User Manual and a Read Me First covering the install.
2. Run the signed installer
Double-click it. The installer is code-signed by Coastal Creative Lab, so Windows names that publisher instead of "Unknown publisher". Check it yourself any time: right-click the file, Properties, then Digital Signatures.
3. Paste two keys
Your Asset Lab licence key unlocks the app, and your own Fal.ai key pays for renders at raw prices. Both stay on your PC. There is no Asset Lab account, no sign-in and no telemetry.
You may still see a warning for a little while.
Windows weighs a certificate's reputation as well as its signature. Ours only started signing in October 2026, so for a short period Microsoft Defender SmartScreen can still show a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen even though the file is signed. It is not a sign that anything is wrong with the download, and it fades as installs add up.
If you see it: click More info, check the publisher reads Coastal Creative Lab, then click Run anyway. We would rather tell you that here than have you meet it unprepared. Only ever run an installer from your own Gumroad library.
Your graphics card does not matter.
Most AI apps for Windows want an NVIDIA card, a CUDA install and enough VRAM to hold the model. Asset Lab does none of that. Every model runs on Fal.ai's cloud, so a laptop with integrated graphics renders exactly what a workstation does, at exactly the same speed and the same price.
Nothing to install
No CUDA, no drivers, no Python environment, no model weights to download. The installer is the whole setup.
No VRAM ceiling
4K images and 1080p video do not depend on your card. The limit is what you choose to spend, shown on the button before you press it.
You pay Fal directly
Renders bill to your own Fal.ai key at raw prices, with no markup and no middle server. Most images cost 3 to 7 cents.

AssetLab Resolve ships for Windows too, code-signed the same way. It is the same studio, docked beside your DaVinci Resolve timeline: generate a shot and it imports into its own bin and lands on your cut. It works with Resolve Free and Studio, and needs scripting enabled. It is a separate $49 product, or $19 as a cross-grade if you already own the standalone studio.

Which versions of Windows does Asset Lab run on?
Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. The installer is a standard .exe that adds a desktop
shortcut and takes a few seconds. There is no Microsoft Store listing and no account to create.
Do I need a GPU to run Asset Lab on Windows?
No. The models run on Fal.ai's cloud, not on your machine, so there is no NVIDIA card to buy, no CUDA to install and no VRAM limit on what you can render. Asset Lab is the interface; your own Fal.ai key pays for the renders at raw prices.

No. One $49 licence covers Mac, Windows and Linux, on every computer you own. If you already bought Asset Lab, the Windows build is already in your Gumroad library at no extra cost, and every future update is free.
Does AssetLab Resolve run on Windows?
Yes. AssetLab Resolve for Windows ships alongside the standalone studio, with the same DaVinci Resolve timeline bridge, code-signed the same way. It needs DaVinci Resolve Free or Studio installed, with scripting enabled.
